Scratch Pattern:
Due to the sharpness and consistent cutting action of ceramic abrasives, operators may need to choose a finer grit compared to traditional abrasives. For example, use a P320 grit instead of P240.
Speed Setting:
The ceramic abrasive technology continuously fractures to create new sharp edges, resulting in cleaner, faster cuts, while staying cooler and lasting longer than conventional abrasives. The operator might need to increase the sander’s speed compared to when using conventional aluminium oxide abrasives.
Interface Pads:
Using the incorrect size or density of an interface pad can hinder the fracturing process of ceramic abrasives.
